When developer nWay first announced Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid, some players preemptively, and wrongly criticised the game; they thought it looked way too similar to Power Rangers: Legacy War — which is a mobile title also developed by nWay.

Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid launched and it was received with positive reviews, although reviewers and mainstream players agreed that the game felt a bit empty, and that a few additions would make it a proper fighting game; something that nWay eventually did.

Just this week, nWay announced that Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid would be getting a Season 3, which would be adding three new playable characters, skins, and a new ultra; all of which were revealed to release in the coming months.

Developer nWay also revealed that the game was making its way to Stadia Pro in June, and this is where things get interesting, as it was revealed that the game will also support crossplay on Stadia Pro. Why is this interesting, you ask?

The reason why this is so interesting is because with the game now being added to Stadia Pro, and supporting crossplay, Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid is now the first game to ever feature crossplay across five different platforms; namely the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Steam, and soon Stadia Pro.

We still don't know when exactly is Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid becoming available on Stadia Pro, but this is great news for both nWay and players who keep enjoying the content the developers have put out.

For over 25 years Power Rangers has been one of the most popular franchises in the world. As a perennial Top 10 NPD Action Brand, the globally renowned brand has spawned hit TV shows, movies, toys, comics, live entertainment and games.

Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid is currently available for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and Steam.
