NETMARBLE: The Game Publisher Has Acquired Majority Stake In Kung Fu Factory

Netmarble has recently acquired majority stake in game developer Kung Fu Factory making the company expand even more. Hit the jump for more information.

Kung Fu Factory is best known for its mobile game WWE: Champions. The development company is based out of Los Angeles and has recently announced that they will be a subsidiary of the massive game publishing company, Netmarble. Netmarble is best known for mobile titles like A3: STILL ALIVE and MARVEL Future Fight.

The company recently purchased a majority stake in Kung Fu Factory and stated: "Kung Fu Factory has been a tremendous partner in the production of NBA Ball Stars and has been incredibly in sync with our vision for our first publishing project, We're thrilled to have a developer with such an impressive portfolio of work become part of the Netmarble US family, and we look forward to building our relationship as we continue to expand our publishing capabilities in the West." according to Netmarble US President, Simon Sim.

NBA Ball Stars is the newest upcoming title that Kung Fu Factory will be releasing. However, after that, they will be working closely with Netmarble on other future titles. Kung Fu Factory founder and CEO Ricci Rukavina added: “We are eager to blow out the launch of NBA Ball Stars in a big way and are looking forward to creating an amazing future with Netmarble US.”
