PLAYSTATION 5: Rick And Morty Have Decided To Share Their Thoughts On The New Sony Console

Rick and Morty wanted to share their thoughts on the brand new Playstation 5 in a brand new video, and what comes next is one of the most hilariously on-brand ads ever. Hit the jump to see!

The PlayStation 5 is now available worldwide, and after a rocky launch where consoles were going out of stock in the blink of an eye, things are starting to reach some equilibrium. This, however, hasn't stopped the marketing team at Sony from advertising the new system in fun ways.

With that in mind, Sony has decided to go big or go home and enlist the endorsement of two of the most important people in the multiverse; Rick and Morty. The duo from the hit series that has now released 4 seasons with a fifth on the way is no stranger to hilarious ads (anyone remember their Pringles ad by chance?). Because of this, the creators jumped at the opportunity to advertise the new console.

What came from that is a hilarious promo of Morty awkwardly selling the PS5 to the viewers while Rick is in the background counting their payday and poorly directing how Morty should talk about the system. What transpires is classic Rick and Morty, and even those that have a console can't deny it is a very clever sales tactic.

It is unclear if more ads from characters that everyone knows will come to Sony's side and cut ads for the new console. That being said, if anyone has ideas of who should make sure to share them in the comments below!

The series follows the misadventures of cynical mad scientist Rick Sanchez and his good-hearted but fretful grandson Morty Smith, who split their time between domestic life and interdimensional adventures. ... The series has been acclaimed by critics for its originality, creativity and humor.

The Playstation 5 is on sale now!
