KRAFTON, Inc. announced earlier today that PUBG: New State has surpassed more than 17 million pre-registrations through the Google Play Store. The major milestone comes shortly after the company wrapped up its first successful closed Alpha Test that ran from June 11th through the 13th.
Due to the increased registration rate for PUBG: New State, KRAFTON has announced that it will open pre-registration for the game on Apple's App Store in Q3, while Android users are still able to pre-register through Google Play. Those that pre-register get an exclusive vehicle skin as well as the latest information regarding the game.
“We would like to extend our appreciation to our fans and players who have shown such huge interest by participating in the Alpha Test,” said Minkyu Park, Executive Producer of PUBG: NEW STATE. “Based on all the player feedback, we will do our best to make sure we complete development by the end of the year and set a milestone for the next-generation mobile games in the battle royale genre.”
PUBG: New State will launch as a free-to-play battle royale experience on Android and iOS. According to PUBG Studio, the developers behind the game, PUBG: New State is set to recreate the original battle royale experience and evlove it to make the most realistic battle royale experience on mobile. They also promise state-of-the-art rendering technologies that will push the lmits of mobile gaming.
