Netmarble turned on the first Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba update in Seven Knights Re:BIRTH on October 1. The collab runs for four weeks, through October 29. Phase one is October 1 to October 15. Phase two starts October 15 and closes with the event.
Tanjiro Kamado and Zenitsu Agatsuma are on Pick Up Summons for the full four weeks. Giyu Tomioka and Shinobu Kocho arrive in the second phase. Tanjiro is also a day-one check-in reward, so the roster add does not depend on the banner. Netmarble says that copy is there to make Awakening easier to start. Nezuko Kamado is a new Legendary pet, earned through gameplay while the event is up, not listed as a summon-only drop in the release.
The new update puts both launch heroes in the Attack type, with different kits. Tanjiro's passive is Hinokami Kagura. On death he revives in an Unyielding state, which grants Transparent World: attacks pierce, and Weakness Attack Chance goes up by 100 percent. Awakened Tanjiro adds burn chance on the basic attack and burn on both skills. Zenitsu's awakened kit, in the same writeup, leans on cooldown resets, buff removal, and an execute. Nezuko's pet bonus is all Attack, Defense, and Max HP for Demon Slayer faction allies. Event copies are finite: one from 150 hero summons in the Demon Slayer Corps Special Duty, one from 1,000 fodder runs, two more from the Corps Supply Depot.
The mode tied to the arc is Infinity Castle, built like the existing Infinity Tower. Clear floors, take rewards. Event Challenge Stages put Akaza up as a boss. That is the Upper Moon the show uses when it wants a fight that is not a puzzle. Phase two on October 15 is supposed to add more content. Netmarble says the rest of those details will land on the official community in sequence, not all in this note.
Seven Knights is Netmarble's flagship game, past 100 million cumulative downloads on the original. Re:BIRTH keeps the story, the cast, and the combat frame, then stacks newer collectible-RPG systems on top. A Demon Slayer banner fits that machine. Four named heroes, a pet, a tower reskin, a boss stage, a check-in so the face of the anime is not locked behind the pickup. Giyu and Shinobu are the second-week reason to come back. Hashira after the kids is the usual collab order.
Demon Slayer is the ufotable series from Koyoharu Gotouge's manga, and Infinity Castle is the arc the films have been spending. Putting that name on a floor-clear mode is the license doing the work the key art cannot. Akaza as the challenge boss is the same move. Players who only know the game get a new Attack pair and a pet that buffs a faction. Players who know the show get the castle and the demon who lives in it.
