Kabam announced earlier today that Marvel Contest of Champions has a new champion for fans of the game; Aunt May. Fair warning, this probably isn't the little old Aunt May that you are expecting!

From Kabam / Marvel Contest of Champions - About Aunt May (Herald Of Galactus): When May Reilly Parker was left to babysit the son of her nephew’s friend, a young boy named Franklin Richards, she never could have expected that cosmic powers would later be transferred to her! A fight against Galactus caused the loving Aunt to become a cosmic Herald, known to some as the Golden Oldie! Now she assists the World-eater by finding alternative (sometimes baked-good based) sources to satisfy his never-ending hunger!

May Parker, known by most in the Marvel Universe as Aunt May, made her first appearance in Amazing Fantasy #15 in August of 1962. She was created by Stan Lee and artist Steve Ditko. She is the wife of Ben Parker adn the paternal aunt-in-law of Peter Parker. Throughout most of Spider-Man's history, she didn't know of Peter's secret identity and considered Spider-Man to be rather frightening. Modern takes on the hero have her supporting Spider-Man, and in some instances even knowing that Peter Parker and the web-slinger are one and the same.
