The star-studded cast of Legendary's Detective Pokemon has just added two more stars - Bill Nighy and Chris Geere.

Both actors will join Ryan Reynolds who will star as the titular Pikachu in this live-action adaptation of the popular video game franchise, though it has not yet been revealed who they will be playing. Starring alongside Reynolds is Justice Smith (Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom) whose character's father is kidnapped, forcing the teen to team up with Pikachu and a young female journalist played by Big Little Lies actress Kathryn Newton.

Nighy boasts an impressive resume, but is probably most well known for his roles in Love Actually and Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean films (he played Davy Jones). Geere, meanwhile, stars in the FXX series You're the Worst, which will air its fifth and final season this year.

Detective Pikachu is due out in theaters May 10, 2019.
