Following the outstanding success of
Pokémon Go, the development team at Niantic is getting ready to unleash another mobile phenomenon upon the Muggle world with WB.'s
Harry Potter: Wizards Unite.
In this mobile title, you will embark on your own
Wizarding World adventure together with friends in your cities, villages, and no man's lands. While you won't be playing as Mr. Potter himself, you will take on the role of a new recruit of the Statute of Secrecy Task Force, established by the Ministry of Magic for the purpose of investigating and containing The Calamity, a global singularity that strikes the wizarding world, causing artefacts, creatures, people, and memories to appear in the Muggle universe.
Wizards Unite will obviously share some similarities with
Pokémon Go, but instead of chasing those fictional animals, you will try to find the so-called Foundables, which will suddenly appear at real-world parks, banks, municipal buildings, college campuses, libraries, monuments, art galleries, and more.
WB. has released a brand-new story trailer for
Wizards Unite, so be sure to check it out down below:
Harry Potter: Wizards Unite combines content and characters you know and love from both the original Harry Potter series and the Fantastic Beasts films in a unique Wizarding World experience. It’s up to you to ready your wand, prepare your potions, brush up your spells and help prevent The Calamity from exposing the secrets of the wizarding world.
Harry Potter: Wizards Unite will release at some point in 2019.
