Sonic the Hedgehog arrives in theatres on February 14th. The upcoming, live-action movie is based on the iconic video game series of the same name and stars Ben Schwartz as the titular character. The cast also includes Jim Carrey, James Marsden, and Tika Sumpter as Dr. Robotnik, Tom Wachowski, and Maddie Wachowski respectively. Jeff Fowler serves as director.
With the highly anticipated release right around the corner, Paramount Pictures have been releasing a plethora of TV spots, stills, clips, and more online. This time around, a new poster has surfaced online (courtesy of
Tails' Channel). This poster is clearly meant for Japanese audiences and is frankly pretty awesome.
It's colourful and features both Sonic the Hedgehog as well as Carrey as Dr. Robotnik. Anticipating fans have definitely taken a liking to the poster, some even consider it the best one yet — while other have poked fun at the titular speedster's somewhat humorous scowl.
