A trailer for Five Nights at Freddy's 2 has dropped, and fans are buzzing over the inclusion of "Silver Eyes" Spring Bonnie.
The inclusion of this murderous puppet indicates that elements from Five Nights at Freddy's: The Silver Eyes novel and graphic novel trilogy, an alternate take on the Five Nights at Freddy's universe, were used for the creation of the sequel.
The sequel to the surprise box office hit, Five Nights at Freddy's movie, is officially set to hit theaters on December 5, 2025.
Josh Hutcherson and Matthew Lillard are returning, along with director Emma Tammi.
This follow-up is expected to explore more of the series' mysterious backstory, drawing inspiration from FNAF 2. Fans can look forward to the debut of the Toy Animatronics and a possible introduction of Henry Emily, a key figure connected to William Afton’s twisted history.
At the most recent Golden Globes ceremony, Josh Hutcherson teased, "We hoped it would connect with audiences but I don’t think that anybody, even on our side of things, expected it to really connect the way that it did. I’m dying to get back on set. Emma Tammi, our director, was fantastic, and it was such a fun world to play in. I’m excited to see what they are doing next.”

Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 is directed by acclaimed returning filmmaker Emma Tammi and is written by game series creator Scott Cawthon.
The film is produced by Blumhouse founder and CEO Jason Blum and Scott Cawthon, who together produced the first film. The executive producers are director Emma Tammi, Beatriz Sequeira, Christopher Warner, Russell Binder and Marc Mostman.
The first Freddy’s film opened to a record-shattering $80 million in October 2023 and went on to earn almost $300 million worldwide.
