Pokémon: Detective Pikachu arrived in theatres. With the live-action Pokémon movie's home release recently arriving,
Screen Junkies have taken the opportunity to make an Honest Trailer about it.
Honest Trailers is an Emmy-nominated video series which satirises actual film trailers. Their name is pretty self explanatory; what if movie trailers were truthful about the product that they're promoting? Each Honest Trailer is narrated by the epic voice of Jon Bailey.
Pokémon: Detective Pikachu is the focus of their newest Honest Trailer. While the Screen Junkies point out some flaws that the video game movie has, such as its repetitive set pieces and generic, nonsensical antagonist, overall they're pretty complimentary.
