Sonic the Hedgehog is now in theatres. The live-action movie is based on the popular video game series and character of the same name. Ben Schwartz serves as the voice of the titular speedster, Jim Carrey plays Dr. Robotnik, James Marsden plays Tom Wachowski and Jeff Fowler directs.
To commemorate the iconic character's first foray into cinema; Build-A-Bear has put together an official
Sonic the Hedgehog movie plush toy. Just recently, the merchandise company unveiled the stuffed animal and it's now available in both the United States and United Kingdom — via their online store. You can visit a physical store in North America and pick up one of them.
As you can see below, there's not only a Build-A-Bear plush toy based on the blue speedster but also a line of accessories — which includes a
Sonic the Hedgehog movie T-shirt and onesie as well as a golden ring that other plush toys can hold and red sneakers loosely based on those that Sonic himself wears.
Each of those accessories will cost about $10 each while the
Sonic the Hedgehog plush toy itself costs $29.99 and £21.50. You can check out official promotional images below (via

Sonic and Tom join forces to try and stop the villainous Dr. Robotnik (Jim Carrey) from capturing Sonic and using his immense powers for world domination. The film also stars Tika Sumpter and Ben Schwartz as the voice of Sonic.
