Sonic the Hedgehog will race into theatres for the first time in just over a month's time — on February 14th, to be specific. The live-action movie is based on the popular video game franchise of the same name. Ben Schwartz serves as the voice of the titular speedster while Jim Carrey plays Dr. Robotnik. Jeff Fowler directs and the cast also includes James Marsden and Tika Sumpter.
Back when the first trailer for the video game movie was released, fans didn't take to kindly to the uncanny redesign of the titular character. Thankfully, Paramount Pictures delayed the film in order to rework the design. The new and improved
Sonic the Hedgehog character design was revealed just a couple of months back and fans were much more pleased this time around.
Recently, a new poster for the
Sonic the Hedgehog movie surfaced online which provides us with another good look at the new design — and a pretty cool mobile wallpaper if you're that into it. Sonic can be seen sporting somewhat of an iconic pose — that is to say that his virtual counterpart has stood with his arms crossed a lot previously.
