Sonic the Hedgehog will arrive in theatres on February 14th. The upcoming, live-action movie is based on the popular and iconic video game series and character of the same name. Following in the footsteps of such greats as Roger Craig Smith and Jason Griffith; Ben Schwartz serves as the voice of the titular character.
The cast also includes Jim Carrey as the dastardly Dr. Robotnik as well as James Marsden and Tika Sumpter as Tom Wachowski and Maddie Wachowski respectively. Jeff Fowler serves as director.
With the movie's release fast approaching, well-known musician Tom Holkenborg A.K.A. Junkie XL has confirmed that the score will be available to listen to from February 14th — that is to say that it will be releasing alongside the film itself. Holkenborg also shared the cover of the score, that essentially being the film's main poster. You can check that out below (via

It's also worth clarifying that the score isn't the same as the soundtrack. Holkenborg's score mainly consists of the awesome music that plays in the background of scenes whereas the soundtrack would feature songs such as Wiz Khalifa's
"Speed Me Up" —
