Earlier today, Paramount Pictures debuted the official trailer for their upcoming, live-action
Sonic the Hedgehog movie. Back in April, they released a trailer for
Sonic the Hedgehog which didn't go down too well with fans — and earned over half a million dislikes on YouTube.
Thankfully, after taking on the criticism and feedback, the new trailer is much better than the previous one.
Sonic the Hedgehog will star James Marsden, Jim Carrey, and Ben Schwartz. The latter two of those actor play Dr. Robotnik and the titular, blue speedster respectively. If you haven't already seen it, or simply want to watch it again, you can check out the new trailer below.

Sonic the Hedgehog in the upcoming movie recently took to social media (
@rejectedjokes) to comment on the new trailer. Schwartz reassures fans that those working on the film, such as the director Jeff Fowler, truly care about
Sonic the Hedgehog and the franchise that surround the character.

A lot of incredibly talented people who care about this franchise very much have made such a fun movie coming at ya February 14th! #SonicMovie," read the actor's tweet — which you can check out below.
