In just three days,
Sonic the Hedgehog arrives in theatres for the first time in his very own live-action feature film. The upcoming
Sonic the Hedgehog movie stars Ben Schwartz as the voice of the titular speedster, Jim Carrey as Dr. Robotnik, James Marsden as Tom Wachowski, and Tika Sumpter as Maddie Wachowski. Jeff Fowler serves as director.
Recently, Paramount Pictures has been pumping out clips, TV spots, and the like in promotion of the upcoming, live-action video game movie. The time has now come for another behind-the-scenes featurette. This one is all about the villain of the piece — Dr. Robotnik.
Jim Carrey features throughout and explains what his nefarious character is all about and why he's suited for the role — what with having played quite a few maniacal geniuses in his time. The actor admits that he's simply having a great time inhabiting the role. That is also the reason he cited for why he would be interested in returning as Dr. Robotnik in the future —
