Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom is an interesting game, as it is both a spiritual successor, and proper sequel to Sega's iconic Wonder Boy series. The developers put so much love and care into the game, that fans of the beloved Wonder Boy series were ecstatic to finally play a game that captures everything that made Sega's series such a classic.
In April of this year, FDG Entertainment — the game's publisher — announced that even more players would be able to play Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom, revealing that Game Atelier's critically acclaimed title will become available on Google Stadia.
At the time of the announcement, FDG Entertainment didn't reveal exactly when Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom would be launching on Stadia, although it was assumed that it would be sooner rather than later — and we have now found out that it will launch as soon as next week.
Google and FDG Entertainment have officially revealed that Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom will become available completely free of charge for Stadia Pro subscribers on the 1st of July. FDG Entertainment also confirmed that the game will also become available for non-Pro subscribers that same day.
