Wizard of Legend is an action-packed dungeon crawler game that was released in 2018 for home consoles and PC, and was developed by independent studio Contingent99. Upon its release, the game was met with critical praise by both reviewers and mainstream players; with a very solid 79/100 on Metacritic.
One of the things that made Wizard of Legend special is its couch co-op multiplayer mode, that makes this game stand out from other titles in the genre. On top of this, developer Contingent99 has added some free updates that have given players even more content to to keep coming back to the game.
Today Contingent99 has some great news for those players who simply can't get enough of the game, as the developer just recently announced that they are partnering up with Limited Run Games to give Wizard of Legend a physical release for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.
As per the announcement, the thirty-day pre-order for the Wizard of Legend physical release will open this Friday the 12th of June at 10:00 AM Eastern Time, although further details about the game itself — what it will include besides the disc/game card — have not been revealed.
We will have to wait until Friday for Limited Run Games, Contingent99, and publisher Humble Games to reveal more information about this physical release. Regardless, this is still great news for fans of the game who were hoping for Wizard of Legend to get a physical launch.
