Assassin's Creed Origins' developers clearly do their homework. Last week the scientists discovered a previously undetected open space in Egypt’s Great Pyramid of Giza. In Origins the player visits Egypt under the reign of Cleopatra VII, and it looks like Ubisoft Montreal designers forseen the future and already implemented the hidden chamber into the game.

Azaïzia Aymar, Assassin's Creed Head of Content revealed that the game's creators have kept in mind the theory of French architect Jean-Pierre Houdin about the inside of the Great Pyramid. “We have long believed that Jean-Pierre Houdin’s theories about the inner ramps and royal circuit with two antechambers inside the Great Pyramid are probably the most credible, which is why we decided to use them in the game,” - said Maxime Durand, the AC series’ historian interviewed by Kotaku.

Assassin's Creed Origins is available on PS4, Xbox One and PC NOW!
