Netflix's CASTLEVANIA Returns This Summer With An Eight-Episode Season Two

The first season of Castlevania surprised everyone, probably even Netflix. Nobody expected that the service would be a good place to break the curse of bad video-games adaptations, but the first season managed to do that. After mostly positive reviews from the press and a good response from the fans of the original games, Netflix and Konami are ready to deliver the goods in season two.

Screenwriter Warren Ellis used his twitter to announce that the next season not only exists, but it will be released this summer! That's quite an announcement, but here's a potentially bad information - the season two contains only eight episodes. It's four episodes more than the first season, but after a year of production, it's understandable to expect at least the Netflix standard, thirteen episodes.

Still, nothing changes that it's great news for the fans of the brand and everyone that can enjoy a good entertainment. Are you ready to sink your teeth into the bloody world of European vampires again?

A vampire hunter fights to save a besieged city from an army of otherworldly beasts controlled by Dracula himself. Inspired by the classic video games.
