Game publisher NEXON has announced that they have entered into an agreement for developing and publishing a Ghost in the Shell video game with Kodansha.
The game will be based on the award winning Series Ghost in the Shell: STAND ALONE COMPLEX, Ghost in the Shell: S.A.C 2nd GIG and Ghost in the Shell: Solid State Society Series, which are adapted from Masamune Shirow's famous mangas, and expand the universe which won several notable entry awards on the 2003 Tokyo International Anime Fair.

Since the original release of the manga in 1989, Ghost in the Shell has been adapted into theatrical anime movies and novels and has evolved into a wildly popular franchise and NEXON excited to create and service a worldwide Version with attractive concepts in diverse genres.
