Capcom released
Resident Evil 7: Biohazard back in January of 2017 and a remake of
Resident Evil 2 in January of this year. And, by the sounds of it, they're already working on another instalment.
Originally reported by a site that's dedicated to the
Resident Evil game series, named
Biohaze, the following news has been reinforced by various other sources. Capcom reportedly sent out an e-mail in which they call for
"Resident Evil Ambassadors" to playtest a new game that's in development.
Specifically, this e-mail came from Division 1 of Capcom — which is the branch of the studio that are responsible for the
Resident Evil series. The e-mail also makes mention that they're looking to enlist people to try out the game in Japan. It's unknown whether the in-development game that they speak of is
Resident Evil 8 or another remake — to find that out, we'll just have to wait and see.
Below you can check out a translated excerpt from the e-mail in question and further below that you can see an image of the e-mail:
"To all Resident Evil Ambassadors, thank you for your patronage regarding the Resident Evil series. Today, we are letting you know that we are recruiting testers for a game that's in development! We are interested in incorporating the feedback of all Ambassadors into our development, so please read the details below and, if you are interested in participating, click the Entry button."
