RESIDENT EVIL 3 Remake Could Be Making Its Way Into Nintendo Switch Via Cloud Streaming

We may have some exciting news for Resident Evil fans, as new information has suggested that Capcom's Resident Evil 3 remake could be heading to Nintendo Switch via cloud streaming.

We may have some exciting news for Resident Evil fans, as new information seemingly suggests that Capcom will be bringing the Resident Evil 3 remake to the Nintendo Switch, although this has yet to be confirmed by either Nintendo or the developer.

This information was actually found on cloud gaming website Ubitus GameCloud, as first spotted by members of Resetera, where Resident Evil 3 Cloud Version for the Nintendo Switch was posted. Within hours after the thread went viral, the people over at Ubitus GameCloud promptly removed all traits of it.

Yesterday, Ubitus and 505 Games announced that they were teaming up in order to bring Remedy Entertainment's critically acclaimed Control to the Nintendo Switch via cloud gaming, and this was exactly what had some players snooping around the website, and finding out about Resident Evil 3 Cloud Version.

More information about this cloud version of Capcom's survival horror title was not shared by the website; all evidence we have that Resident Evil 3 Cloud Version is, indeed, a thing is the game's cover — which, again, is no longer on the website, but was thankfully archived by Resetera users.

This wouldn't be the first time a Resident Evil game was made available on Nintendo Switch via cloud streaming, since Resident Evil 7 Cloud Version was released in May of 2018; the only downside was that this version was only available in Japan.

Control releasing on yesterday was actually the first time a game released via cloud streaming was made available here in the West on the Nintendo Switch, so chances that Capcom is, indeed, planning on bringing Resident Evil 3 Cloud Version to the portable console are pretty high; now more than ever.

Jill Valentine is one of the last remaining people in Raccoon City to witness the atrocities Umbrella performed. To stop her, Umbrella unleashes their ultimate secret weapon; Nemesis! Also includes Resident Evil Resistance, a new 1 vs 4 online multiplayer game set in the Resident Evil universe where four survivors face-off against a sinister Mastermind.

Resident Evil 3 is currently available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC(Steam, Microsoft Windows).
