DESTROY ALL HUMANS! Welcomes Players To Santa Modesta With This New Gameplay Trailer

THQ Nordic has released a new gameplay trailer for Black Forest Games' upcoming remake of the classic Destroy All Humans!, which welcomes players to Santa Modesta.

In June of last year, THQ Nordic announced that they would be bringing back Pandemic Studios' fan-favourite classic Destroy All Humans! in the form of a remake — this time being developed by German studio Black Forest Games — and that it would be releasing in 2020 for the series' 15th anniversary.

Unfortunately, At the time of the announcement THQ Nordic didn't reveal an official release date for the remake. It wasn't until April of this year that Destroy All Humans! was revealed to be launching in July for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC; on Tuesday the 28th of July, to be precise.

This new Destroy All Humans!, as mentioned above, is a fully fledged remake of the original, and the developers at Black Forest Games have managed to perfectly capture the original game's essence to the T — so those who got the chance to play the original will get a similar, albeit enhanced experience, and newcomers will simply get a great game.

Much like THQ Nordic did with Purple Lamp's recently released SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom - Rehydrated, a bunch of gameplay videos that introduce players to some of the iconic areas in the original Destroy All Humans! have been released, and the upcoming remake is not the exception.

Last time, the developers shared a gameplay trailer that introduced players to Turnipseed Farm, but today is all about the California-based fictional town of Santa Modesta, where players are bound to have some fun invading it as Crypto.

Check it out:

The cult-classic returns! Terrorize the people of 1950s Earth in the role of the evil alien Crypto-137. Harvest DNA and bring down the US government in the remake of the legendary alien invasion action adventure. Annihilate puny humans using an assortment of alien weaponry and psychic abilities. Reduce their cities to rubble with your flying Saucer! One giant step on mankind!

Destroy All Humans! will release for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on the 28th of July.
