Grand Theft Auto V released back in September 2013. It's been a long while since then. Typically, Rockstar Games would release a major Grand Theft Auto game every three or four years. Alas, that hasn't happened in this case. However, it seems that we might finally be on the verge of the next instalment.

Over on the GTA Forums, a user by the name of "gonnaenodaethat" has sparked mass speculation and the like (via /r/GTA6). Recently, this user posted a thread to the forum stating that Grand Theft Auto VI is going to be announced later this month — specifically on March 20th.

While the moderators of this community are usually infamous for taking action against unfounded claims and fake leakers, they haven't only not removed the user's post but they've pinned it. What's more, this very user did the same thing just before Red Dead Redemption 2 was announced. What do you know; he was right about it then.

Furthermore, this user's profile reveals that he lives in Scotland. Naturally, this led many to believe that he's somehow connected to Rockstar North (one of Rockstar Games' subsidiary companies that is responsible for the last couple of their games — and is situated in Edinburgh, Scotland).
