Portland Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard is unquestionably one of the NBA's best guards and is one-half of a lethal dynamic duo in Rip City with the sharpshooting CJ McCollum. NBA 2K19 has awarded his excellence with a stellar 90 overall player rating, which should be one of the highest guard ratings in the game.
While he's led his team to the playoffs for five straight years, he hasn't had much success leading them deep and has only gotten out of the first round twice in five attempts. The development and subsequent domination of the Golden State Warriors have also not helped matters.
In his sixth season last year, he averaged an impressive 26.9 ppg, 4.5rpg, 6.6 apg, 1.1 spg, and 0.4 bpg. He's a 3x NBA All-Star and has made an All-NBA team in three of the past five seasons. He was also the 2012-13 NBA Rookie of the Year.
