The DLC characters for NetherRealm Studios' critically praised
Mortal Kombat 11 have been rumored for a while, after some dataminers cracked the game's code and saw that quite a few interesting fighters were going to join the roster at some point.
According to the information revealed by the dataminers,
Mortal Kombat 11 would be getting Terminator, Ash Williams, the Joker, and Spawn, as well as other characters from the
Mortal Kombat series like Fujin, Sindel, Nightwolf, Sheeva, and Shang Tsung.
We've known for a while that Shang Tsung was going to join the roster as a fighter(he does show up in the game's Krypt mode, but he isn't playable), and today NetherRealm Studios released an action-packed, and bloody trailer that shows him off using the souls of his victims to fight his opponents.
What's even more interesting is that the trailer also confirms Nightwolf, Sindel, and Spawn as part of the Kombat Pack DLC — teasing that there are still two more characters to be revealed.
Series creator Ed Boon revealed that, if all went well, they would be revealing all of those DLC characters next week, so we'll just have to wait a few more days to find out which of those alleged characters from the leak are actually real; considering that they mention that there's only two guest characters to be revealed.
