Mortal Kombat 11 currently features a roster of 28 heroes and villains, including the cult-classic heroes from the original game: Johnny Cage, Liu Kang, Sub-Zero, Scorpion, Raiden, Sonya Blade, but it's clear that the game's list of playable characters will expand rapidly after the inclusion of some DLC fighters.
A credible dataminer LeoNatan may have revealed the identities of those eight new characters, after examining the game's files. If LeoNatan's report is true, the following fighters will be available in
Mortal Kombat 11 via DLC: Spawn, Joker, Terminator, Ash, Shang Tsung, Sindel, Sheeva, Nightwolf, and Fujin.
As a reminder, NetherRealm Studios and WB. Interactive Entertainment have already confirmed that Shang Tsung is
MK11's first DLC hero, so that fact definitely makes the leak even more legitimate.
Although you probably know who Spawn, Joker, Terminator, and Ash are, Sindel, Sheeva, and Nightwolf debuted in 1995's
Mortal Kombat 3, with Fujin gracing the brutal universe for the first time in 1997's
Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub-Zero. While it all sounds great, remember: until anything is officially announced, consider everything reported on this subject nothing more than a simple rumor.
