Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is the next instalment in the long-running first-person shooter video game series. The upcoming game is set to launch on November 13th for current-gen consoles (PlayStation 4 and Xbox One) as well as next-generation consoles (PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X) and PC.
Ahead of the game's launch, Treyarch and Activision have held an online multiplayer beta which allows players to try out the game and the devs an opportunity to iron out an issues that are discovered before Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War properly releases.
The first beta took place on October 10th for PlayStation 4 players who had pre-ordered to game. The second weekend begin on October 15th and involve crossplay, which means that Xbox One and PC players get to join in this time around. The beta will be open to all PlayStation 4 players from 10 AM, October 15th until October 19th.
Those who have digitally pre-ordered Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War for Xbox One and PC (via Battle.net) will be able to start playing as soon as 10 AM, October 15th as well. However, those that haven't pre-ordered on those platforms will have to wait until October 17th to join in. The beta still lasts until 10 AM on October 19th regardless of platform.
