Bethesda Softworks has announced that the annual pre-E3 conference (also known as "BE3") will take place on June 10 at 6:30 p.m. PT/9:30 p.m. ET/2:30 a.m. GMT on June 11/11:30 a.m. AEST on June 11. The conference will be streamed live on Twitch, YouTube, Bethesda.net, Twitter and Facebook and the studio responsible for
Fallout 4 and
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim slowly teases the upcoming attractions.
DualShockers recently chatted with Bethesda Softworks’ Senior Vice President of Marketing Pete Hines and asked him about the E3 2018 line-up.
“I couldn’t give you any guesses as to what we’re going to announce and when those games will be out. But I will say, we have a lot of new stuff to talk about at E3," Hines said. "
Whether or not folks realize it, this is the hell on Earth time for us with E3. We are in the midst of so much planning and work for all of that content but I’m really excited."
The "hell on Earth time" quote is especially interesting, considering that Bethesda doesn’t have much planned for the latter half of this year (it's actually nothing except The Elder Scrolls Online and Legends expansion packs). The rebooted Doom was released two years ago and it should be more than enough to develop a proper sequel to the single-player-focused (and excellent) FPS game. Hell yeah?
