Halo: Reach hit retailers today, and Microsoft has big launch plans for the final installment of the Halo franchise. Here's a quick rundown of some of the goodies to look forward to this week:
New goodies for your avatars allow you to proclaim your love for Halo with gear for your Avatar like the UNSC boonie hat, a headshot T-shirt, or Noble 6 armor.
FREE downloads! Get print-ready Halo: Reach posters, stencils, and seal stickers to decorate your game room, cubicle wall, laptop cover, or anywhere else you want to show your love for Halo.

FREE Halo: Reach Multiplayer! Microsoft is opening up Xbox LIVE Gold to all members of Xbox LIVE. Try all the Gold features from 9 A.M. Pacific Time, September 17, through 9 A.M. Pacific Time, September 20.

- September 16-17 – Game with Developers -- Bungie will play with fans on Thursday, September 16 from 5 P.M. -7 P.M. ET in the US, and Friday, September 17 from 8 P.M. -10 P.M. BST in the UK in a special Game with Developers event.
- September 18 – Xbox All-Nighter on Xbox LIVE
- September 19 – Community Playdate – Play Halo: Reach with site members from The House of Gaming from 8-11 P.M. ET in an Xbox LIVE Community Playdate.
- September 21 – Game with Fame with Linkin Park – The legendary rock band Linkin Park will play Halo: Reach with Xbox LIVE Gold members Tuesday, September 21, starting at 7 P.M. ET in an Xbox LIVE Game with Fame.
