METRO: EXODUS Will Have A Photo Mode As A New "Making Of" Featurette Has Been Released
Nothing stops this train, as 4A Games has released a new Metro: Exodus featurette that focuses on the team behind the upcoming shooter that will also launch with a photo mode on both consoles and PC...
In the upcoming Metro: Exodus, that is set a quarter-century after nuclear war devastated Earth, you will play once again as Artyom Chyornyj, a brave member of The Rangers, a group of elite battle-hardened soldiers and the main protagonist of the acclaimed Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light video games, as well as the main character of Dmitry Glukhovsky's best-selling Metro 2033 and Metro 2035.
4A Games has released a new Exodus-focused "making of" video that gives you a chance to take a closer look at the development team behind the game. It's the first chapter of a three part documentary series filmed on location in Kyiv and Malta at 4A’s two studios as they put the finishing touches on the third Metro game. The video features not only interviews with key personnel, but also archive footage and photos, and never-seen-before materials from the 5 year development of Exodus.
Just like Assassin's Creed: Origins, Far Cry 5, and Horizon Zero Dawn, Metro: Exodus will give you a chance to share the best pictures from your trip to Russia using the advanced photo mode that will be available at launch. “Photo Mode has been one of the most requested features from the Metro community,” said Jon Bloch, Executive Producer at 4A Games in a press release. “They’re relatively rare in 1st person shooters, but the team have been determined to make it work and give Metro fans the opportunity to capture their own stories from the Russian wastelands.”
Be sure to check out the aforementioned video and latest Metro: Exodus updates down below:
The year is 2036. A quarter-century after nuclear war devastated the earth, a few thousand survivors still cling to existence beneath the ruins of Moscow, in the tunnels of the Metro. They have struggled against the poisoned elements, fought mutated beasts and paranormal horrors, and suffered the flames of civil war. But now, as Artyom, you must flee the Metro and lead a band of Spartan Rangers on an incredible, continent-spanning journey across post-apocalyptic Russia in search of a new life in the East. Metro Exodus is an epic, story-driven first person shooter from 4A Games that blends deadly combat and stealth with exploration and survival horror in one of the most immersive game worlds ever created.
Metro: Exodus will be releasing on February 15, 2019 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
