Ever since the official reveal trailer for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare was released, there has been an influx of news on the upcoming reboot. As a result, we've learned a lot about the new video game, including details about gameplay mechanics like bullet penetration and that there will be no Zombies mode.

Now, we've officially learned who will be stepping up to compose the score for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. In a tweet from her personal Twitter account, composer Sarah Schachner announced that she has been tapped to create the score.

Schachner isn't a stranger to composing the music for a Call of Duty game, as she previously worked on the soundtrack for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. Likewise, she has also lent her talents to Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed Origins and BioWare's Anthem.

While the soundtrack may not have been the biggest selling point for the original Modern Warfare series, the franchise had amassed an impressive list of composers that consisted of notable names like Hans Zimmer, Stephen Barton, and Brian Tyler.
