Early in August, Bethesda and id Software surprised DOOM fans by revealing that the critically acclaimed DOOM Eternal would be getting a brand-new campaign in the form of "The Ancient Gods", which is a DLC that will be released in two parts, and will be adding tonnes of new content to the game.

Players have had to wait for a while, but the waiting is now almost over, as the update that brings with it the "The Ancient Gods, Part One" DLC will be rolling out next Tuesday the 20th of October, giving players more reasons to keep ripping and tearing demons.

Today, the official Twitter account for DOOM has teased the new soundtrack that will be part of the DLC that will be releasing next week. This tweet asks Composers Andrew Hulshult and David Levy whether they have something to test the speakers "the new sound system in the fortress", wiith each of them sharing a short, albeit headbanging clip.

Hulshult and Levy are replacing DOOM(2016)and DOOM Eternal composer Mick Gordon, but these clips are proof that they were able to capture the essence of Gordon's memorable soundtracks.

Many will remember that DOOM(2016)and DOOM Eternal composer Mick Gordon and Bethesda/id Software parted ways in April of this year due to creative differences, with Producer Marty Stratton quickly addressing the controversy, and explaining in detail what caused this breach.

Give it a listen.

DOOM Eternal puts you in control of the DOOM Slayer as you blow apart new and classic demons with powerful weapons in unbelievable and never-before-seen worlds. Experience the ultimate combination of speed and power as you rip and tear your way across dimensions with the next leap in push-forward, first-person combat.

DOOM Eternal is currently available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PCNintendo Switch version expected to release soon.
