The first season of Fortnite Chapter 3 kicked off earlier this month and introduced not only Marcus Fenix from the Gears of War games as a playable skin but also Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson as, original character, The Foundation as well as none other than Marvel's most popular superhero: Spider-Man!

The train isn't coming to a stop any time soon, though, it seems. A reputable insider recently shared via the XboxEra YouTube podcast (via @iFireMonkey) their scoop. Having already collaborated with Fortnite by bringing such iconic characters as Master Chief from Halo and the aforementioned Marcus Fenix from Gears of War, Xbox are apparently looking to work with Epic Games some more in that regard.

What's more, while this insider didn't reveal any upcoming content that's specific to Xbox, he did say there's a lot more crossover skins on the horizon including none other than Doom Slayer. Fans of Bethesda and id Software's DOOM video game series will be familiar with this beast of a character. An icon of gaming since all the way back in 1993 when he was known simply as Doomguy.

We will be sure to keep you updated with any and every update regarding this anticipated Fortnite skin, so stay tuned to Gamefragger!
