RAGE 2, the first child of the unexpected marriage between Avalanche "
Just Cause" Studios and id "
DOOM" Software, is almost here, as the shooter is coming to PC, PS4, and Xbox One on May 14th.
Even though the game hasn't even hit store shelves, the team at Bethesda has released a special DLC roadmap for
RAGE 2, detailing all the major additions you can expect to download after the title's (hopefully successful) launch. With fresh events, community challenges, new vehicles, never-before-seen enemies, cheat codes, and two huge (paid) expansions,
RAGE 2’s roadmap is pretty promising.
Those "live service elements" have only main goal: keeping players engaged with the title even after they finish
RAGE 2's story missions and end the long-lasting oppression of the villainous Authority.
As a reminder, the game's embargo will be lifted on Monday, May 13, at 5AM Pacific time, so that's when the first reviews for the sequel should hit the web. While Avalanche's latest projects,
Just Cause 4 and
Generation Zero, leave a lot to be desired, there's hope that the Swedish studio has managed to learn some lessons from their previous mistakes with the help of the team at id Software. Take a look:
