Mega Man X is one of the most popular videogame franchises from the 90s. The games focus on a Reploid named X as he fights against the evil Mavericks led by ex-Maverick Hunter Sigma. It is a sequel of the original
Mega Man franchise that takes place a few hundreds years after it, in a world where robots [Reploids] have begun becoming infected by a mysterious virus that is making them go rogue.
Mega Man X Legacy Collection compiles 8 titles in the X series split into two packages.
Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1 features Mega Man X1, X2, X3 and X4. While
Mega Man X Legacy Collection 2 wil come with Mega Man X5, X6, X7 and X8.
The retail release will include one disc with
Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1 and one disc with
Mega Man X Legacy Collection 2 for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions, and one game card for
Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1 plus a download voucher for
Mega Man X Legacy Collection 2 on the Nintendo Switch.
Both Collections will include:
- High-Resolution Filter Option so that you get the most out of those graphics.
- Huge Museum that will let players explore the entire history of X.
- Gallery with a large variety of illustrations plus some rare concept art.
- Music Player with a collection of classic and new tracks.
- The Day of Sigma movie which was exclusive to
Mega Man Maverick Hunter X until now.
- A collection of all the trailers and commercials for the
Mega Man X titles.
- Product Gallery with 25 years' worth of
Mega Man X collectibles.
- BRAND NEW MODE will see players challenging two bosses at once in X-Challenge.
Mega Man X Legacy Collection contains side-scrolling classics Mega Man X, Mega Man X2, Mega Man X3, and Mega Man X4. Continue the adventure with Mega Man X Legacy Collection 2, which includes Mega Man X5, Mega Man X6, Mega Man X7, and Mega Man X8. Each collection also contains a plethora of rare game art, nostalgic trailers, merchandise galleries, and more. These collections also include the all-new X Challenge mode, which features a series of challenges in which X faces off against two deadly Maverick bosses at once!
Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1 & 2 will be available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and Steam on the 24th of July.
