Ubisoft has announced that South Park: The Stick of Truth will be released on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One next month. The game was previously available as a pre-order bonus for South Park: The Fractured But Whole, now you'll be able to pick the game up separately from February 13th.

The game was previously available on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, trading the superhero affair featured in the Fractured but Whole for a hilarious take on a fantasy setting. The Stick of Truth was released to strong reviews with many praising the game's faithfulness to the aesthetic of the show, the trademark South Park humour, and the traditional RPG gameplay.

The game follows a new kid as he moves to town and is caught up in an epic conflict between Cartman and Kyle as both factions go to war to claim the Stick of Truth. Over the course of the game, you are pitted against aliens, gnomes, Nazi zombies, all while being placed in hilarious and over the top situations. South Park: The Stick of Truth is perhaps one of the most faithful video game adaptations of licensed material and is well worth picking up.

What do you guys think? Are you excited to play South Park: The Stick of Truth on PS4 and Xbox One?
