Zenonia 1 Hits Steam 18 Years After The Original Mobile Game Came Out

Zenonia 1 is now out on Steam. Com2us Holdings and CFK Co., Ltd. launched the restored first game on August 31, 2026, about 18 years after the original phone release. The store page calls it a faithful restoration of the mobile game onto PC.

The list price is $9.99. An introductory 10 percent cut drops that to $8.99 through September 14. Steam tags it as a single-player action RPG with full controller support and achievements. Early reviews sit at Very Positive, 92 percent from 75 user reviews at launch. Raijin’s tracker had it around 700 concurrent players shortly after it went live, with roughly 4,900 wishlists built up through August. Check out the new trailer below:

If you had a touchscreen in 2008 or 2009, this is the Gamevil action RPG that ate battery life: pixel towns, real-time swings, gear dumps, and a good-versus-evil story around a lead named Regret. Classes are still Warrior, Paladin, and Assassin. You pick a path, stack stats, and grind maps the old way. There is no multiplayer listing. There is no live-service shop bolted on top of the campaign. I remember playing it a ton as a kid even though I was not very sure at what I was doing back then.

The dev team’s Steam post is blunt about the goal. They are not building a new Zenonia. They wanted the first adventure back on a screen that is not a 2009 phone. A demo ran during Steam Next Fest. Launch includes the full story from that demo cutoff through the end of Regret’s route. The same post says they will keep patching from community notes after release.

Languages on the store include English, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, and French, among ten total. Steam Deck compatibility is still listed as unknown.

Com2us Holdings is the publisher name on Steam. CFK is credited alongside it as developer. Gamevil made the original series. The companies have been under the same corporate umbrella for years. This PC drop is the anniversary product, not a surprise sequel announcement.

Zenonia 2 through 5 are not part of this listing. The Steam news only talks about restoring the first adventure and listening after launch. If those sequels follow, that will be another store page.

For a steal of $9, you get the campaign that defined a chunk of early smartphone RPGs, with a keyboard or a pad instead of a thumb on glass.

Are you grabbing Zenonia 1 on Steam for the nostalgia, or did the phone version already scratch that itch years ago? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
