Fandango has tweeted a new exclusive poster of the Uncharted movie coming in February 18, 2022. The poster features the two stars Tom Holland and Mark Wahlberg with a wrecked ship in the background. There is no new information on the movie and the poster just confirms the release date we already knew.
The film is based on the famouos hit video game series Uncharted and serves as a prequel to said games. Tom Holland will play Nathan Drake and Mark Wahlberg will be playing his mentor Victor Sullivan. Other notable actors are Sophia Ali, Tati Gabrielle and Antonio Banderas.
The film will be an introduction to Nathan Drake and will highlight his very first treasure hunting adventure with the company and mentoring of Victor Sullivan. This adventure is described as an action-adventure epic that "spans the globe" while these two stars are hunting for "the greatest treasure never found". The two stars embark on this quest while also tracking Nathan's lost brother.
Sony has signed deals with Netflix and The Wal Disney Company for the streaming rights of the film. Uncharted will be available for streaming on those platforms from 2022 to 2026. For more information on Uncharted keep it here.
