Indie Wrestlers The Young Bucks Have Been Asked To Do Motion Capture For WWE 2K19
In a surprising piece of news for wrestling fans, it's been revealed that The Young Bucks have been asked by 2K Games to perform motion capture for next year's instalment of the wWE video game franchise.
The Young Bucks found themselves in hot water with WWE recently when they invaded RAW (well, stood outside the building where the show was taking place) and received a threat of legal action from the company over their use of the "Too Sweet" hand gesture as a result. However, 2K Games clearly isn't made with the talented tag team as they've asked them for a big WWE 2K19 related favour.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, 2K Games has asked Nick and Matt Jackson to do motion capture work for next year's video game because so many fans have been creating them in the game and the developers would like a more accurate representation of their moveset for the "Create-a-Superstar" feature. The question is, will WWE now end up putting a halt to this taking place?
2K Games is not owned by WWE but will likely cancel these plans if the company insists. As for the chances of The Young Bucks coming to WWE for real, those remain slim, but it could happen somewhere down the line. For now, they seem more than content to remain on the independent circuit tearing up the likes of Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro Wrestling. What do you guys think?
