It seems that Nintendo didn't only revised the Nintendo Switch, since new information has revealed that the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller also got a slight revision — although it is best not to get too excited about it, as the changes are probably not worth an upgrade.
The information comes from a
Resetera thread posted by user SiG, who spotted a different serial number on the box of a Nintendo Switch Pro Controller; stating that this was version 104889
D instead of 105889
E.
For those unaware, the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller's D-Pad is widely considered to be a step back from previous controllers, mainly because it causes some inputs to either not register, or register when the user inputs a different direction than the one the controller detects.

@SpawnWaveMedia, from the SpawnWave YouTube tech channel, got hold of one of these revised Nintendo Switch Pro Controllers and tore it down, revealing that there are some changes made to the controller's D-Pad, but they are slight at best; concluding that the changes made will probably not do much with button presses.
