A bunch of titles developed and/or published by Arc System Works have suddenly popped up on the Nintendo Switch eShop and Microsoft Store; including the first three titles in the classic Double Dragon series of beat 'em up games, and more.
The games that developer Arc System Works has recently re-released are Crash 'n' the Boys: Street Challenge, Double Dragon, Double Dragon II: The Revenge, Double Dragon III, Renegade, River City Ransom, and Super Dodge Ball.
All of the titles listed above are the North American games included in Arc System Works' Double Dragon & Kunio-kun Retro Brawler Bundle that released in February of this year, and now these seven classic titles can be purchased individually for $4.99/ €4.99 / £4.49 on the respective Nintendo and Microsoft online stores.
It is worth mentioning, however, that Nintendo Switch Online subscribers already have free access to the first two titles in the Double Dragon series, as well as River City Ransom and Super Dodge Ball — although these can only be played while the subscription is still valid.
Whether you decide to purchase these games individually is up to you, but it was still worth mentioning that there are other ways to get these games for a better price; this also includes Arc System Works' recently released Double Dragon & Kunio-kun Retro Brawler Bundle, which actually includes all of the games mentioned before, plus a good chunk of other games that were never localised outside of Japan until now; the only downside is that this game is only available on the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.
