HAL Laboratory — known for developing renowned series like Super Smash Bros., Earthbound, and Kirby — have recently announced that they are currently looking for developers to work on a brand-new entry in the Kirby series.

According to the information posted on the official HAL Laboratory website, the studio is looking for a bunch of positions that go from Action Programmer, Level Designer, 3D Artist, and Project Manager — amongst others — and that the deadline date for applicants is on the 26th of September.

Kirby Star Allies, the latest entry in the long-running Kirby series, was released in March of last year and was praised by both fans and critics alike. While the game offered the full experience from day one, the developers still supported the game for quite some time by releasing a bunch of free updates for fans to keep enjoying the game.

Development for a new Kirby game will obviously take some time, especially since the studio has just began looking for developers, but chances are that we will be getting some news about the project sooner than later.
