In December of last year, Nintendo announced that Luigi's Mansion 3 would be getting some additional content, as paid DLC, that would add some new costumes for the ScareScraper and a bunch of minigames for the ScreamPark.
Nintendo also revealed that this upcoming DLC, that they named Multiplayer Pack, would be released in two parts, and that the first part would become available in March of this year, and the other one at a later unspecified date; both parts included in the Multiplayer Pack.
Part 2 of the Multiplayer Pack has just become available today, and Nintendo has finally revealed exactly what is it that it is including. For starters, this new DLC is adding three more minigames for the ScreamPark, six new themed ghosts, and three new outfits for the ScareScraper, as well as three new floor themes in co-op ScareScraper mode.
For those players who had previously purchased the Multiplayer Pack, this update will become available automatically. Players who still don't own the DLC can purchase it via the Nintendo eShop for $9.99 USD. Unfortunately, this is the only way to purchase the DLC, as players cannot purchase Part 1 or Part 2 of the Luigi's Mansion 3 Multiplayer Pack individually.
Wield the upgraded Poltergust G-00 to slam and blow away the ghosts’ defenses, or summon Gooigi, an all-green doppelganger that can help Luigi overcome obstacles he can’t get past alone. In ScareScraper mode, race the timer to clear various objectives on a series of floors with up to 8 players. Luigi’s Mansion 3 will suddenly appear on the Nintendo Switch this holiday 2019!
Luigi's Mansion 3 is currently available exclusively for the Nintendo Switch.
