Luigi is getting his Poltergust G-00 ready to hunt some ghosts in the latest entry in the Luigi's Mansion series, as the upcoming title, Luigi's Mansion 3, is coming out on the 31st of October for the Nintendo Switch.

While the game is called Luigi's Mansion 3, the game will actually be taking place in a hotel — where Luigi will be exploring every floor in search his older brother Mario and his friends; who have mysteriously disappeared while on vacation.

Luigi's Mansion 3 is also introducing co-operative gameplay, a first in the series, as well as a multiplayer mode similar to the one introduced in Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon for the Nintendo 3DS; giving players even more ways to experience and enjoy the game.

Today the Nintendo Minute crew are joined by Luigi's Mansion 3 Creative Director Bryce Holliday, as they show off some co-operative gameplay and reveal a few interesting details about the upcoming ghost-hunting title.

Check it out:

Wield the upgraded Poltergust G-00 to slam and blow away the ghosts’ defenses, or summon Gooigi, an all-green doppelganger that can help Luigi overcome obstacles he can’t get past alone. In ScareScraper mode, race the timer to clear various objectives on a series of floors with up to 8 players. Luigi’s Mansion 3 will suddenly appear on the Nintendo Switch this holiday 2019!

Luigi's Mansion 3 will release exclusively for the Nintendo Switch on the 31st of October.
