We have some great news for fans of the
Luigi's Mansion series, as Nintendo has just revealed that they are not done supporting
Luigi's Mansion 3, and that brand-new content is going to be releasing for the game in 2020.
As per Nintendo's announcement,
Luigi's Mansion 3 will be getting 6 new ScareScraper costumes and 6 new ScreamPark minigames via a paid Multiplayer Pack DLC, which will cost players $9.99 USD, and will release in 2 parts.
The first part of the
Luigi's Mansion 3 Multiplayer Pack will become available on the
30th of April, and will include three new ScreamPark minigames, six new themed ghosts, three outfits for Luigi, and three new floor themes for ScareScraper Mode.
Players who pre-order the Multiplayer Pack will get a special Polterpup flashlight that makes a Polterpup shape on walls. This is an item that is already available for players who managed to successfully unlock the Gallery in E.Gadd's Lab.
Part two of the Multiplayer Pack for
Luigi's Mansion 3 will be releasing content for both the ScreamPark and ScareScraper, and is expected to release on the
31st of July in 2020; further details were not revealed, however.
Wield the upgraded Poltergust G-00 to slam and blow away the ghosts’ defenses, or summon Gooigi, an all-green doppelganger that can help Luigi overcome obstacles he can’t get past alone. In ScareScraper mode, race the timer to clear various objectives on a series of floors with up to 8 players. Luigi’s Mansion 3 will suddenly appear on the Nintendo Switch this holiday 2019!
Luigi's Mansion 3 is currently available exclusively for the Nintendo Switch.
