We are only a bit under a week from the release of
Luigi's Mansion 3, and fans of Mario's heroic younger brother are already excited to get their hands on this long-awaited sequel, as well as the return of the series to home consoles; considering that
Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon released for the Nintendo 3DS.
Unlike the original
Luigi's Mansion and
Lugi's Mansion: Dark Moon, Luigi won't actually be exploring a mansion — or several, like in the case of the Nintendo 3DS title — but a hotel instead; where every floor will feature different, and scary themes.
Today, Nintendo has released yet another short trailer for
Luigi's Mansion 3 that actually features a rather sombre live-action bit that fully embraces the Halloween spirit. We also get to see some gameplay, although it doesn't feature anything we haven't already seen.
Check it out:
Wield the upgraded Poltergust G-00 to slam and blow away the ghosts’ defenses, or summon Gooigi, an all-green doppelganger that can help Luigi overcome obstacles he can’t get past alone. In ScareScraper mode, race the timer to clear various objectives on a series of floors with up to 8 players. Luigi’s Mansion 3 will suddenly appear on the Nintendo Switch this holiday 2019!
Luigi's Mansion 3 will release exclusively for the Nintendo Switch on the 31st of October.
