Well, this news may disappoint a lot of
Super Smash Bros. fans who were eagerly anticipating tomorrow's stream, as Nintendo has officially confirmed that during the livestream no announcements regarding new fighters will be made.
In previous
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate livestreams, Nintendo has taken the opportunity to tease and announce new fighters, which is one of the reasons players look forward to these even if they aren't particularly interested in the specific topic being discussed; in this particular case, showcasing
Fatal Fury's Terry Bogard.
What Nintendo does confirm, however, is that Ver. 6.0 of
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will be arriving soon — probably after the livestream is over — which will introduce Terry Bogard as the new fighter part of the game's Fighters Pass.
Nintendo may still surprise fans with a tease, but they usually don't announce that no character announcements will be made, so it is still best not to hold your breath waiting for that character tease.
As a reminder, tomorrow's
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate character showcase will be streamed at 5:00 AM Pacific Time, and will be roughly around 45 minutes in length.
