Nintendo has just announced that a brand-new title in their popular Dr. Kawashima's Brain Age series is coming to the Nintendo Switch later this year. The game has recently been announced for Japan, but it is likely that it will be announced for the west in the coming days, if not later today.
As per the announcement, Nintendo also released a gameplay trailer for the game, which is currently named
Train Your Brain: Nintendo Switch Training For Adults — a callback to the original game being titled
Brain Age: Train Your Brain In Minutes A Day! — and is expected to release in Japan on the
27th of December.
The trailer for the game reveals that players will be making use of the Joy-Con's infrared sensor in order to register hand gestures. This also would meant that the game may not be compatible with the Nintendo Switch Lite, unless players pair additional Joy-Con controllers.
Train Your Brain: Nintendo Switch Training For Adults is also compatible with the stylus, which is reported to be included in the physical version of the game; again, this has only been confirmed for Japan as of the moment of this writing.
